Sassy Divas, Girls All Over the World: While fashion trends are definitely hiking up the hemlines, now is the time to make your skin shine. I have a divalicious recipe that will do wonders for your legs and can be used as an overall body polish. So let’s get mixing:

This quick Me Body & Bath polish recipe requires:
A stainless steel bowl
1 cup of Dark Brown Sugar
½ cup of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/8 teaspoon of Lemon Essential Oil
A long handled scrub brush

Use a fork to mix all the ingredients, and add olive oil to have some extra standing oil. As a young diva, I remember my grandmother cutting sugar cane and chilling it for our afternoon treat. Sugar has so many healing properties and uses. Because of the natural glycolic chemical element of sugar, it exfoliates the skin while you rub. The sugar helps directly draw moisture to the skin allowing your pores to absorb the moisture of the olive oil which is rich in vitamin E, a natural protector of skin cells.

Use this all over body polish from your neck to your tippy toes. Rinse well with warm water and shower as usual. Your skin will be as smooth if not smoother than a baby’s bum. Please exercise caution when using the body polish, when wet surfaces can be more slippery than normal. Please use a small towel or a bath mat to stand on when rinsing. Enjoy!
